Biography

Ed Hunt graduated from OSU with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1945 and an MS in 1946 in Aeronautical Engineering. His first engineering position was with Brod & McClung-Pace Company, beginning in 1946. He was active in all phases of the company and in 1981 was elected President and CEO, a position he served in until his retirement in 1992. In 1994, he was involved in creation of Huntair LLC, a company that designs, markets, and sells recirculation units and micro-environment enclosures for clean rooms in the semi-conductor industry. He is a member of the College of Engineering Advisory Board. Ed is a Fellow of ASHRAE and received the OSU College of Engineering Distinguished Alumni Award in 1995.
